Important: This product is designed for specific repair needs and doesn't directly replace the factory voltage regulator within your vehicle's computer. While our FRM (field replacement module) aims to prevent the check engine light from turning on, it might not work in every situation. If your computer is damaged in a way that keeps the light on, don't worry – as long as your alternator is in good condition, our regulator bypass kit will still ensure it charges at the proper 14.3 volts.

Please note: This kit cannot fix a faulty alternator; it only works if your alternator is functioning correctly.

If your vehicle is newer than 2006, you might need a modified driver in addition to an external regulator kit. Some examples of modified drivers are part numbers 150240091MOD, 4622071MOD, or 4622081MOD. If your vehicle is newer than 2006, please call us to confirm if you need a modified driver.
